Kangen Water machine

Kangen Water Washington DC

What is Washington DC Kangen Water?

Kangen Water in Washington DC is ionized alkaline water (or acidic water) made by Enagic’s kangen water machine that basically takes and converts regular tap water into either acidic or alkaline water, depending on the setting (most kangen machines can produce water between 2.7 PH and 11.5 PH).

It does so through a process called electrolysis, which is a technical term for electrocuting the water and splitting it into high PH (Alkaline) and low PH (Acidic), that’s why each kangen water machine has 2 tubes coming out of it. One for Alkaline water and other for Acidic. Learn a little more about what is kangen water.

Leveluk K8 Kangen Machine

Leveluk K8 is currently the top of the line anti-oxidizing kagnen water machine that Enagic makes for home use. It has 8 platinum coated plates and is capable of making the highest ORP water.

Leveluk SD501 is the most popular unit that has 7 platinum coated plates and has stood the test of time, while serving lots of people. It features voice system with English language. There is also the under counter model called Leveluk SD501U.

Leveluk SD 501 Platinum is the fancier version of SD 501, it performs the same except for the fabulously good looks and ability to “speak” in 5 languages which are English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.

Leveluk JRII Kangen Machine

Leveluk JRII

Leveluk JRII looks like the SD 501 machine, but it only has 3 platinum coated plates. It produces water with much lower maximum ORP and has lower output. It is however great for energy conservation. The current version is JRIV with similar specs and higher price tag.

Leveluk Super 501 is basically a commercial grade kangen water machine. It has 2 output hoses and can make a LOT more water. I’ve seen suggestions that it’s for large families, but I think that K8 or SD 501 will do just fine at home.

Kangen Water Machines and Their Benefits

Why opt for a kangen water machine over other water ionizers? With numerous brands vying for attention through active advertising, the decision might seem daunting. Yet, here are several compelling reasons why I lean towards Enagic’s kangen machine:

1. Established Excellence: Enagic boasts a track record of reliability, having fostered a substantial community of kangen water enthusiasts. Remarkably, it stands as the most sought-after brand of alkaline water, a testament to its enduring appeal.

2. Japanese Craftsmanship: While often overlooked, the commitment to quality ingrained in Japanese craftsmanship holds significant sway for me. Having witnessed firsthand the meticulous pride Japanese artisans invest in their creations, I’ve developed a profound admiration and longing for their products.

3. Substance Over Speculation: A pivotal aspect distinguishing kangen water systems is the superior quality of their platinum-coated plates, essential for partitioning tap water into alkaline and acidic streams. Numerous exposés reveal the purportedly “inferior” mesh plates utilized by competing manufacturers. This emphasis on quality, particularly evident in the construction of these plates, elucidates why the kangen machine commands a higher price point.

4. Longevity and Reliability: Through personal observation and online research, I’ve gathered compelling evidence supporting the longevity of kangen water machines. With diligent maintenance, these units can endure for over two decades—a stark contrast to the shorter lifespan often associated with other heavily marketed brands.

What's Up With All Kangen Water Reviews?

With a plethora of reviews inundating the internet, the landscape surrounding kangen water machines is fraught with both praise and controversy. Amidst this cacophony, discerning whom to trust when seeking a machine for personal, familial, or workplace use becomes a daunting task. Regrettably, even trusted entities like the BBB and Consumer Reports are not immune to the influence of competitor-sponsored reviews, which often skew perceptions by disparaging rival products.

As you sift through reviews spanning various sources—be it concerning a company like Enagic or a specific product like the Leveluk 501 Kangen Water Machine—it’s imperative to scrutinize the reviewer’s motives. Consider the source behind the critique: Is it a competitor’s website, a rival company, or salespersons with a vested interest in promoting their own offerings? Such affiliations can taint objectivity and breed bias.

One telltale sign of potential bias is the presence of an affiliate link redirecting you to platforms like Amazon, where alternative products, such as different water ionizers, are promoted.

Are There Health Benefits To Drinking Kangen Water?

Amidst the plethora of information, some accurate and some not, regarding the advantages of exclusively consuming kangen water, one fact remains unequivocal: it is not a cure for any diseases, and assertions to the contrary are false. While in certain instances this water may aid certain individuals in alleviating serious health conditions like cancer, it unequivocally does not constitute a “cure-all” for cancer or any other ailment, regardless of severity.

Regarding purported benefits, numerous individuals attest that following a regimen of drinking recommended quantities of kangen water (a minimum of 0.5 gallons or approximately 2 liters per day) for over a week yields noticeable improvements such as:

1. Enhanced Mental Clarity
2. Sustained Energy Boosts sans subsequent crashes, unlike typical energy drinks
3. Enhanced Sleep Quality and Depth
4. Improved Hydration, owing to the body’s superior absorption of kangen water
5. Radiant Skin
6. Enhanced Hair Thickness, particularly beneficial for individuals grappling with hair issues

While these outcomes may not strictly qualify as health benefits per se, they undoubtedly contribute to an overall improvement in lifestyle and well-being.

Don’t care what I have to say about it? Then check out this video, it ain’t me talking:

Different Types of Kangen Water Uses and Benefits

According to Enagic’s official website and my personal experience, there are 5 types of water that kangen machines make:

  • Strong Kangen Water (11.5 PH Most Alkaline)
  • Drinking Water (8.5 to 9.5 PH Alkaline)
  • Neutral, Clean Water (7 PH Neutral)
  • Beauty Water (4 to 6 PH Slightly Acidic)
  • Strong Acidic Water (2.7 PH Most Acidic)

Each type of water has specific properties and can be used for different things in and around the house.

Strong Kangen Water – This highly alkaline water possesses fascinating properties and serves various purposes:

1. Cleaning: It offers a natural alternative to chemical household cleaners, effectively sanitizing kitchen counters, stovetops, and other greasy or dirty surfaces.
2. Food Cleaning and Preparation: Its unique properties make it ideal for removing oil-based pesticides from store-bought fruits and vegetables. A video demonstration showcasing this feature will be available.
3. Stain Removal: While effective on carpets, rugs, upholstery, hard surfaces, and even clothes, it is not a suitable replacement for bleach.

Kangen Water For Drinking – The spotlight often shines on this type of water produced by Kangen machines, with a pH ranging between 8.5 and 9.5, making it perfect for:

1. Drinking: Optimal hydration requires consuming water equivalent to one’s body weight in ounces daily. For example, a person weighing 150 lbs should drink 150 oz (1.17 gallons) daily.
2. Cooking: It enhances the flavor of soups, broths, stews, homemade sauces, and serves well for pre-cooking certain foods.
3. Drinks: From lemonade to coffee and tea, Kangen drinking water elevates the taste of various beverages due to its smaller molecular size. Interestingly, both coffee and tea taste stronger.
4. Watering Plants: Despite acidic water being typically recommended for plants, Enagic suggests that plants thrive on this drinking water. However, individual testing is advisable.

Neutral, Clean Water – Enagic’s website touts this type of water produced by Kangen machines as “Free of chlorine.” However, in my experience, the machine alone does not completely remove chlorine, necessitating a pre-filtration system. So, what is pH 7 Kangen water good for?

1. Baby Food Preparation: Provides clean water for your child without altering pH levels excessively.
2. Medication Consumption: Enagic recommends using this water to avoid any adverse reactions when taking pills.

That’s about the extent of the benefits of neutral pH water.

Kangen Beauty Water – Designed to match the skin’s slightly acidic nature, this water offers diverse applications:

1. Face Washing: Cleanses and hydrates the skin, offering soothing and radiant effects.
2. Hair Cleaning: Used in conjunction with shampoo, it conditions hair for added shine and prevents tangling.
3. Pet Care: It can be used to spray and groom pets for a clean and shiny coat.
4. Polishing: While not overly exciting, beauty water proves effective for polishing glass, mirrors, and windows.
5. Preservation of Food Flavor Prior to Freezing: Spraying food with 4 to 4.5 pH water purportedly helps preserve flavor when frozen.

Strong Acidic Water – With a pH of 2.7, this water is not suitable for drinking but excels in:

1. Surface Disinfection: Effective for disinfecting kitchen knives, countertops, toilet seats, door knobs, handles, and surgical utensils.
2. Personal Hygiene: It can be used to disinfect items like toothbrushes and as mouthwash, provided it is not ingested.

While these are innovative uses for Kangen Water, its most popular application remains drinking water!

Is Kangen Water Washington DC a Scam?

Enagic is the manufacturer and distributor of kangen water machines, with its headquarters situated in Japan and global offices spanning across various regions. Operating for over three decades, the company employs a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) sales system.

Despite attempts by some of Enagic’s competitors to portray kangen water as a scam, it is unequivocally not. Nonetheless, these competitors persist in disseminating misinformation and what can only be described as “fake news” about Enagic and its products, all while subtly nudging consumers to opt for their own offerings instead.

When you invest in a kangen water machine, you are essentially purchasing a premium product at a premium price, a topic I will delve into further below.

Who's Behind Water Ionizer “comparison sheets” and “Buyer’s Guides”?

Why do comparisons between kangen water machines like Leveluk SD501 or K8 and other water ionizers consistently portray the kangen machines as either inferior in performance, more expensive, or both? Interestingly, you won’t find Enagic actively engaging in these comparisons with other manufacturers. Perhaps it’s because they don’t feel the need to do so. Nonetheless, it’s advisable to form your own conclusions.

As for Buyer Guides and Free E-Books, they represent a separate discussion altogether. Every water ionizer company endeavors to “educate” potential consumers, though in reality, they are primarily focused on convincing you that their product is the ultimate alkaline water machine available.
